My anxieties ~ KVO #12

My anxieties ~ KVO #12

There you go, Vegas again with its 103°F. Intense climate, never ending night life, spectacular hotels, streets upholstered with photos of half-naked women, certainly one of the places that I would visit over and over again. This time EDC was the goal “the rave in the middle of the desert” but getting to EDC was a mission. It was far, it was hot, and there was traffic. From far away the venue did not look that spectacular but once inside it was like an amusement park. Six different stages, more than 45 artists, endless fireworks, colorful rides, dressed up people, and all sorts of food stands. The venue was enormous that you could freely move around without bumping into people all the time. We also had VIP entrance so that was supposed to be a plus for the event. As for Monster Massive, we expected free alcohol at least but nothing was given free. Being VIP did not feel at all special. The only good thing was that you had the chance of having a better view of the whole venue … VIP was a fraud. The night went by fast and dancing until sunrise was a nice experience. Although coming back to Los Angeles was a nicer experience because of the weather :P but anyways Vegas is never disappointing.
PS: According to this article, no one died at EDC Vegas http://www.lasvegasweekly.com/news/2011/jun/29/verdict-edc-las-vegas/

..

well at least anxiety is part of creativity… the desperate moment that pushes you to show what you want to get rid of, in the most emblematic way
